Internship Program

CB&S Bank is a leading community bank with $2.6 billion in assets, headquartered in Russellville, Alabama, operating 56 branches in the Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee markets. Employing over 550 people company-wide, we offer a complete line of full-service banking products and other related financial services to retail and commercial customers.

CB&S Bank is offering a paid internship opportunity for students with Finance, Accounting, Economics, and Management majors entering their junior and senior year in the fall of 2025.  The internship will be for eight to ten weeks during the summer.  Interns will be based during the program in a bank office near the university.

Participants in the internship will gain an overview of the banking industry by participating in a variety of assignments and activities.  A CB&S banker will be assigned to serve as a mentor to the intern during the program.

Interns will participate in the following:

• One on one meetings with various lines of business in the retail, commercial and operational areas of the bank.
• Leadership team and committee meetings attendance
• Observations in retail, commercial, and operational areas of the bank
• Online training focused on banking compliance and operations
• Community Service activities
