HOURS AVAILABLE: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; occasional availability outside of traditional business hours may be required for meetings, special projects, etc

About the Position: Sales Assistant provides clerical and project management support to the sales support department and field sales team.

What's expected (includes but is not limited to):
  • Department and customer data management and maintenance:
o Maintains and updates all customer order forms; ensures accurate pricing and assortments
o Maintains and updates all customer databases and department spreadsheets
§ Customer contact list (buyers, marketing, communication, executives, etc)
§ Customer price lists
§ Assortments
§ Customer part numbers (for matching to BG skus)
  • Supports customer focused projects:
o Uploads approved creative briefs and inputs required information into RedBooth
o Monitors all sales support creative briefs in RedBooth to ensure timely completion of all initiatives
o Notifies appropriate parties of any important changes/urgent status updates to active projects so that they can communicate to the field and the account
§ Assists with gathering any outstanding information that’s needed to complete a project
  • Aids in the dissemination of sales reporting
  • Assists in the resolution of day-to-day inquiries from field team
  • Assists in additional projects/assignments as requested by management

· Must be 18 years of age or older
· HS Diploma or GED
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
· Must be able to[perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
· English proficient with exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
· Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office & aptitude for other programs
· Must be able to learn and retain a working knowledge of all new and existing product lines
    ·Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% of the time.

Education/Experience/License Requirements:
  • 2-year degree in business administration or closely related field is preferred
  • 1+ years of administrative support experience is preferred; will accept applicants with internship experience or additional education in related field
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
