Sr Specialist - Dream Home
Responsible for the oversight and training of regional staff and program implementation of the Dream Home promotion in a geographical territory, using high level skills and experience to coordinate Dream Home event activities and constantly creating opportunities to move the Dream Home program to a higher level. Works with regional staff, Associate Director and Directors of Dream Home on all Dream Home initiatives, including marketing and construction. Responsible for oversight of an of 5-8+ campaigns (average) over the course of the fiscal year, raising $5-8 million cumulatively while being held responsible for maintaining budgeted cost ratios for each campaign. Responsible for all aspects of these high level events including fiscal management, volunteer recruitment and sustained cultivation of construction partners who are $250,000+ partners. Works under the general direction of the Dream Home Directors. Works in concert with regional directors to provide guidance and leadership to regional staff.
- Requires knowledge of fund raising and public relations
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Public speaking skills
- Understand difficult verbal and written instructions
- Possess excellent problem solving, organizational and leadership skills
- Understand data processing applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor's degree and 6 years of marketing, fund raising, event planning, sales or related experience
- Residential or commercial construction knowledge preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
