Emerging Leaders Program

Irby Emerging Leadership Program

Our program provides the ability to grow your career within our organization through established mentorships, special assignments and specialized training throughout our business. You also have the unique opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership on a relevant business topic. This program will begin in June 2022.
The Sales and Operations Development Program is a dynamic, intensive program utilizing a balance of on-the-job, E-learning, and subject matter expert training. The program provides you with a foundation of knowledge and gives you exposure to every facet of our business. This 12-month rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. The core rotations of this program are:
·      Warehouse/Logistics
·      Counter/Storeroom
·      Projects & Quotations
·      Sales/E-Commerce/Specialty
Required Skills:
In addition to your rotations you will also experience:
·      Team-Building activities with fellow trainees
·      Travel opportunities
·      Enhanced understanding of our business through specialized training
Basic Qualifications
·      A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required
·      Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
·      Possess a desire for a career Sales, Logistics, or Operations
·      Outstanding verbal and written communication and skills
·      Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
·      Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to change
·      The ideal candidate is willing to relocate
